Machine Shop Capacity
Arrow Engineering's machine shop is equipped with both manual and CNC machinery, enabling us to deliver precision turning, milling, gear cutting, slotting, broaching, and fabrication services.
Our CNC lathes and milling machines are predominantly fitted with XYZ ProtoTRAK control systems, offering intuitive conversational programming with user-friendly touchscreen controls. The ProtoTRAK TRAKing feature allows seamless transition between manual and CNC operation.
Our lathes and bed mills also utilise DXF conversion, enabling direct download of drawings from desktop to machine for streamlined production and increased accuracy.

Our Lunn Davis key seating machine provides precision key seating operations for shafts and bores, ensuring exact tolerances for power transmission components including couplings, sprockets, and pulleys.

We fabricate all shapes and sizes of guards and enclosures in metals (Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium) and Polymers (Polycarbonate, Plastic, Acetal, Polyethylene, Tufnol, and PVC).

In conjunction with our machine shop we can Turn, Mill and Gear Cut special products such as Brackets, Shaping rings, Scrapers, Dough Ball Divider segments, Nib Tensioning Rollers and special gears.
CAD Design
Our CAD Design Technicians produce intricate CAD Drawings from sample components, customer descriptions or sketches. Using the latest version of SolidWorks, we produce complex 3D Models and Assemblies - enabling us to prototype any new design as well as amend existing components.
We maintain a drawing library of our clients' drawings, including machinery name, number and revisions, enabling repeat orders without repeatedly dispatching sample parts. Our 3D Models can be 3D Printed and CAD Drawings can be integrated directly into our CNC Machinery.

Special Polymers
Arrow Engineering have been manufacturing parts in special Polymers for many applications specifically in the Pharmaceutical, Food/Baking, Bottling and Brewing industries. These special impregnated PTFE and Graphited polymers are a great alternative to parts manufactured in metal - weighing less, not corroding, and less expensive to produce.
Special impregnated Polymers provide comparable high tensile strength to metals with the advantage of being lighter in weight. Many aerospace, automotive and railway applications have replaced metal parts with special polymer manufactured parts.
TEKCLEAN
A patented Anti-Bacterial PTFE which kills and prevents the growth of all bacteria.
PTFE G673
A stainless steel filled PTFE which is FDA and EU 10/2011 approved, providing high strength, toughness, elasticity, and durability.
D-TEKBLUE
An FDA approved blue PTFE detectable using optical scanners, metal detection equipment, or X-Ray equipment.
